Guys IMO if the vikes get beat last night, Childress would have been caned.. I Hate to be mean but i just don't like the guy. He has the D to thank for keeping his job, what is very disappointing as a fan, the only way the Vikes win that game against the saints is if there D score two TD's which they did, Teams have now figured out stack the box against the Vikes stop AP make the other players beat you, if not for a pass interference call last night i believe the Vikes loose, If there was a silver lining at least the Vikes D showed up, by the way even on a off night(when his WR dropped at least 5 balls) Drew Brees is the best QB in the NFL, if he can stay on the field he will help the thaas fantasy team GREATLY, i have him in both my leagues and have been very happy to date!!
The D finally did step up and nearly scored another TD with the sack and fumble recovery in the first half (they advanced it to the 4 yard line).
I agree that the D may have saved Childress. This team is in need of a QB and I'm surprised they aren't trying to bring in another guy like Chris Simms (recently released by Tennessee). Maybe Simms is injured and that's why he was released, but it seems like he would be better than Frerrotte if healthy.
