DeSean Jackson
With Kevin Curtis (sports hernia) and Reggie Brown (Hamstring Pull) out of the lineup last night against the Pats, Jackson got the starting nod and played well. Speed kills and that was in full display during his 76-yd punt return for a TD. He also had 4 catches for 67 yds. The kid has been impressive throughout camp and in each preseason game thus far. Marty Mornhinweg has devised all kinds of plays for him and the coaching staff, while being cautious in their praise of Jackson publicly, are said to be thrilled with his progress. The Eagles, historically speaking, haven't had much production from rookie receivers. In fact, Reggie Brown's 43 receptions in '05 are the most in team history for a rookie. Jackson looks to be a safe bet to top that mark based on what i'm hearing out of Philly. Jerry Rice said that Jackson is the fastest receiver he's ever seen. Throwing in his punt return ability, he's someone i'll have my eye on in the late rounds of my upcoming drafts.

Thanks for the info, Joe. I will keep this guy in mind as a solid late draft pick in my 2 drafts next week.
I read nothing but Great things about this guy, only rap is he is just a Rookie
OK guys, I'm back and probably won't get to all these new posts, but wanted to ring in on this one. When Curtis' injury was brought up last week, thaas asked for a fantasy replacement and I mentioned this guy. Glad to see if anyone took that advice, that it may pay off.
