Cowboys losing streak? It Must Be December...

Coming up short late in the season is hardly a winning recipe. Tony Romo hasn't played miserably but the Cowboys continue to lose their way late in the season, specifically in December. Romo's December record is 5-10 since taking over as the starter in the 2006 season. This story goes beyond Romo though as losing late in the season has become a rite of passage for the Cowchokes. Going back to 2002, the boys in blue have struggled late with all of the QB's they've started. Below is a list of Cowgirl QB's and their record in December:

2002 - Chad Hutchinson - (0-4)
2003 - Quincy Carter - (2-2)
2004 - Vinny Testaverde - (2-3)
2005 - Drew Bledsoe - (2-2)
2006 - Tony Romo - (1-3)
2007 - Tony Romo - (2-2)
2008 - Tony Romo - (1-3)
2009 - Tony Romo - (0-2)

Total - Win Pct (.322) - (10-21)

Things haven't been much better when the 'boys have had the opportunity to play in the playoffs:

2003 - Quincy Carter - (0-1)
2006 - Tony Romo - (0-1)
2007 - Tony Romo - (0-1)

So, to refresh, Oh for December thus far and don't look now but up next is the 13-0 New Orleans Saints in a game to be played in the Mardi Gras city. The Cowboy faithful, who are widely considered to be the most front-running fans in all of sports, are still thrilled and spouting at the mouth over the Yankees win (Bandwagon jumping is something these boneheads are skilled at). These folks will have to savor that victory and be satisfied because the $1 billion dollar football palace in Texas will join it's predecessor in sitting quiet and empty for yet another playoff season. Cowboy faithful looking to lay the blame somewhere will undoubtedly call for the head of head coach, Wade Phillips. The fact of the matter is that even legendary coach, Bill Parcells couldn't guide these bunch of losers to a playoff win. Maybe the league, television networks, and advertising sponsors will install a "Heimlech" machine at each stadium these chokers play in. Hmmmm... I wonder who these assclown fans will lay the blame on next season???
